ABOUT THE WOKUMENTARY
The Friends of Ken music video for Words on Koncrete is the brain child of Kevin Brett from Nameless Productions. The story in the video follows a day in the life of "WOK Guy" who - as the song calls him is an 'in-crowd loser' - who is thrown out of his girlfriend's house and after meeting his best friend (FOK Guy) in town calls "FOK Guy's" girlfriend looking for sympathy only to use the opportunity to hit on her, which turns out not to be the only hitting done...

Behind this action is the band performing the song with the power and energy you expect from Friends of Ken. Although this is a more serious video than that for fan-favorite Lessons In How To Annoy, it no less shows the talent and personality of the band.

Friends of Ken are a punk band based in Stoke-on-Trent and have established themselves as a band to watch out for. They are made up of Big Un (Guitar/Vocals), Sven (Guitar), Al (Bass/Vocals) and Hof (Drums). Words on Koncrete is taken from the EP 'Give My Regards to Pork Chops'. A band you want to go for a drink with and take home to meet your mum! Explore their official web site for more details: friendsofken.co.uk

Kevin Brett has directed both Lessons and Words on Koncrete as well as editing and shooting much of the fabled Friends of Ken documentary (or FOKumentary as it's commonly known). Kevin is the co-owner of Nameless Productions and is the director of numerous short films that have screened at national film festivals.

It was Kevin who approached Andrew Davidson to shoot the documentary centred on the filming of the video, both the band shoot and the story elements. Andrew took up the opportunity to work with Nameless Productions and Friends of Ken and saw it as a chance to try his hand at something new, as well as lead Last ATAK Pictures in a new direction by creating its first documentary. During its eighteen minute run time the documentary covers the band shoot, the auditions for the story and the days filming all to the music of Friends of Ken from their album 'Cheers'. It was edited over two weeks using Namesless Productions edit facilities.
