NEW FILM ANNOUNCEMENT // 14.05.2010
Last ATAK Pictures ANNOUNCE NEW SHORT FILM.

Shooting this month for the Virgin Media Short Film Competition.

London, UK. - May 14th, 2010 - Last ATAK Pictures today announced the development of its seventh short film. Entitled Sorry Signs it tells the story of two joggers who meet running in the park, and the lengths the guy will go to when he ruins it.

The film is written by Andrew Davidson (Autumn Heart, Hit and Run) for entry into the 2010 Virgin Media Short Film Competition. This is his first entry into the annual competition, the prizes for which include £30,000 towards a future production, new equipment and having the film screened on television and cinemas nationwide in the UK.

'Sorry Signs is designed as being carefree, bright and hopefully incredibly sweet,' says Davidson of the impending production. Casting on the film was recently completed and stars Andrew Venning as the guy and Avena Mansergh-Wallace as the girl.

'I'm really excited about working with Avena and Andrew. They are bringing a lot of excitement and energy to the project, and don't seem afraid to be pushed, to be, well, a little bit dorky.' jokes the director.

Sorry Signs is deep into production with photography to commence shortly.

After the completion of Sorry Signs, Last ATAK Pictures intend to focus and prioritize pushing the short film They're Here into production. Numerous setbacks have so far stalled filming on the horror short. Andrew Davidson plans to make it his next film and looks forward to working with Alice Knapton on the project.
