Shooting in October and expecting a 2007 release in festivals.

London, UK. - August 14, 2006 - Last ATAK Pictures today announced the development of its first short film in three years. Entited Hit and Run it tells the story of Justin who discovers Miranda, left for dead by the side of the road, and vows to stay with her as they wait for aid. However, matters grow worse when the hit and run driver complicates events to keep his identity hidden.

The film is written by Andrew Davidson (Autumn Heart, Quondam) based on a story he developed with Andrew Elkin. After spending two years developing feature film project 'The Musicals' Davidson is excited by the prospect of shooting a new short film. 'Hit and Run' is currently is pre--production with shooting scheduled for early October.

The film stars Darren McAree as Justin and Paula Williamson as Miranda, it is being produced and directed by Andrew Davidson, Andrew Elkin and Tom Reynolds are the Executive Producers.

Andrew Davidson is also developing a film for the 2006 Nokia Shorts 15 Second Film competition called Mirror, Mirror.
