From the award-winning producers of 'Autumn Heart' and 'The Tracy Goodman Show', Quondam tells the story of Jack (actor Darren McAree) a man who has destroyed his life and lost all that is dear to him. Now dying he is haunted by the ghosts of his past and the mistakes he has made, as he journeys toward redemption. Quondam studies the nature of addiction and the destructive effects it could have on the people around you. It is the exploration into one man's psyche as he struggles to find peace, by facing everything he has lost, in his dying moments.

Before filming on Quondam even began, director Andrew Davidson and producer Kevin Brett discussed the issue of releasing the short film on DVD. With the steady release of the Web Documentary series on the internet and the production of a 'Making Of' documentary, the film-makers wanted a way for their unique vision to reach an even wider audience.

Soon the DVD will be released, almost a year since principle photography took place, with a wealth of bonus features and 'making of' featurettes. The centre-piece of the disc being the half hour 'Making Of Quondam' documentary and the 6 Web Documentary featurettes that were screened at the film's premiere in March 2004 and at the Stafford Film Festival in October 2004. The documentaries chart the production of the film from the very beginning to over a year later when the film was screened and were shot by documentary maker Ross Lucas with Ben Macrow. This DVD release sees the Web Documentaries being available in full resolution for the first time.

Other features on the DVD include deleted scenes, the original 'Test Shoot Footage' shot in August 2003 and a 'Demon Designs' featurette that explores Daniel Anderson's development of the Demon character for the film.

The finishing touches are currently being put on the DVD and the final cover design for the disc is still being developed, the design seen here is a prototype that may not reflect the final design concept.

The DVD contains fully animated interactive menus that were created especially for the DVD and reflect many of the key scenes and characters of the film.
