This annual award ceremony is held in the Film Theatre at Staffordshire University and commends the best two films made by the Second and Third year students. The best production made by Second year students last year was the film 'Solipsist' with the second prize going to 'LiMBO'.

'A complete and total surprise,' was Director Andrew Davidson's response to being told that the film had won second place, 'I honestly didn't think we'd win. I'm happy that 'Solipsist' won, I was really impressed with that film when I saw it. It's interesting how polarized the content of the two films is.'

The production team are looking on this as a good omen for the work that is being put into the new film and those that were involved in 'LiMBO' couldn't be happier with this result.

When asked what the first thing he did when he learned of the good news, Andrew Davidson replied, 'I phoned my mum of course! She's always the first to know.'
