A SCRIPT IS BUT THE BEGINNING... // 10.12.2002
After nearly three months in development the script for the new Last ATAK Pictures film has been completed.

What started as a quirky observational comedy developed into the heartbreaking story of a man unable to cope with loss and the fear of loss. Yet around this the environment and characters of the original piece have remained, their significance changing.

The script went through many drafts - the final count was seven - with three people involved with writing duties: Andrew Davidson, Katherine Reeve and Angela Slade.

The task now falls to the production team during the next three months of pre-production to continue to develop the film visually. This will include the casting of the film. The story focuses on James Hadley and the mysterious Lara, both of whom are being cast in the run up to the Christmas holidays. The remaining ensemble of characters will start to come together in late February in the run up to the early March filming. This will be happening in conjunction with a planned series of rehearsals in the new year.

Casting announcements and details of the shooting location are coming soon.
