Biography: Andrew was born in Glasgow in 1981 and moved to London at the age of 1. In 1992 he moved to The Netherlands. Here he finished his secondary education at 'The British School in the Netherlands' (where he met Amy Kemp - Angelica in 'LiMBO'). During his time living in The Netherlands Andrew had the opportunity to travel in mainland Europe and around the world.
He returned to the UK in 2000 to begin a BA (Hons) degree in 'Film, Television and Radio Studies' at Staffordshire University. He graduated in July 2003 with a 2:1.
Whilst living in The Netherlands he developed his interest in theatre, originally intending to act, but has now begun directing. His directional debut was a stage production of John Wyndham's 'The Chysalids' in 1999, and 'LiMBO' (2002) marked his short film debut. He is one of the co-founders of Last ATAK Pictures.
Since completing his third short film 'Quondam' in 2004 Andrew has devised and written a 12-part television serial that he hopes to have made and also appeared in the June 2004 issue of BAFTA Magazine. He is currently writing a sit-com with Darren McAree and is developing an animated film with writer Andrew Elkin and animator Alun Jones.
'The Musicals' marks his feature film directing debut.
