MIRROR, MIRROR
"Mirror, mirror on the wall..."

'Mirror, Mirror' was conceived by Andrew Davidson for the 2005 Nokia Shorts film competition, but work on 'The Musicals' stopped the shoot from taking place and the competition deadline came and went.

Details of the 2006 competition brought the concept back to Andrew's mind and he moved ahead to make it happen this time around. He turned to old friend Richard Broadbent to take up central role and attempted to explain exactly what was involved. As with 'Evil Jonathan Is Dead' before it 'Mirror, Mirror' has a strong visual element that is somewhat difficult to explain if you can't see it.

Andrew also wanted to simplify his entry for the 2006 competition. Whilst he is proud of 'Evil Jonathan Is Dead' he does concede that the film may not be easy to view on small screens, which is the purpose of the competition. 'Mirror, Mirror' is simple and funny.

Unfortunately 'Mirror, Mirror' did not make the final 10 in the competition, but is presented here exclusively.
